Smitten For Hearts
A heart shape on anything makes me look twice. Just like the ones we love, if we look twice, we’re smitten.

My design tip: If you’re looking for a something and look twice at it your smitten, it’s meant for you.

Christmas at Home
Gathering at home for Christmas is where some of the fondest memories begin. Decorating our home with evergreens bring in the wonderful scent of Christmas all through the season, it’s lovely to see our favorite treasured ornaments go up on the tree and tucked into places here and there. Relaxing in a cozy corner and wrapping gifts with a personal touch by the fire. Entertaining always make Christmas at home special.  A little peak into our home this Christmas.

What a beautiful sight, I believe do you?

My design tip: For Christmas I only have one tip. Decorate your home with what you love. Those pieces that hold your fondest memories.
My wishes for a heartfelt Christmas with family, friends and the memories that you hold most dear.

Vintage Sleds and Sleighs

So many favorite and nostalgic images of Christmas include pure olde school fun on sleds and sleigh rides. Images that inspire the holidays with vintage beauty and happiness. Keep watch, at second Shout Out we have vintage sleds like these to use outdoors for your holiday decor. Truly a magical sight.

If you dare and have a large enough space why not bring them inside, after all it’s Christmas!

My design tip: Vintage toys, ski’s, sleds and skates curate a playful and nostalgic feeling to holiday decor, have fun with them.
A beautiful Saturday to you,

Dedicated to the decoration and Northern Nordic way of life. It is a delight to visit this home dressed for the Christmas holidays in a white environment and subtle fine notes of red and cozy hospitality. Julia, iexplains her 5 principal recommendations for a simple effective decoration in Christmas: to use crowns in doors and windows, the smell of Christmas sweets newly baked, flowers of the season, to take care of the decoration of the kitchen  by creating wonderful cuisines and to fill the house of big hung stars on walls and ceilings.

Enjoy the Season.

October’s Hush

Interesting that October is called the “hush before winter”. It really is…
The leaves quietly turn beautifully then fall to the ground blanketing it in preparation of winter.

We begin to blanket ourselves in Autumns cozy fashions and our homes with textures that connect us to nature. A welcoming sprig of berries, wreaths and pumpkins inspire the beginning of the October. Dinners into the crisp evenings outdoors are surely to be relaxing and memorable.

Shop our Italian Dinnerware

My design tip: Gather your vintage adornments. Layer your clothing, your home and your outdoor dining spaces with cozy textures in natural shades.
Layer your spirit with the hush of October.
